COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – You’ll have a chance to weigh in on the future of the Drake Power Plant in Colorado Springs tonight.
Colorado Springs Utilities is in the final stages of developing a new electric integrated resource plan. They’ve narrowed multiple options down to three paths CSU could take. One of the biggest decisions is when to decommission the Martin Drake Power Plant, if at all.
The utilities board is expected to vote in November.
There’s a public meeting at 6 p.m. tonight at the Leon Young Service Center on Hancock Expressway.
