Mark Goldberg has been working in the broadcasting industry for more than 30 years. After graduating with a degree in broadcast journalism, he landed a his first job reporting news in San Jose, California. He moved to Colorado in the early 1980’s, and after a short time in California, he became a permanent resident in Colorado in 1988 working at KKFM on the famous “Mark Brothers” morning show.
During his tenure, he interviewed Presidents Jimmy Carter, George Bush and George W. Bush, in addition to astronauts, rock stars and everyday heroes doing extraordinary things. He’s the winner of several Associated Press news awards, as well as numerous honors by the Colorado Broadcasters Association. He was the winner of “Broadcast Citizen of the Year” in 2000.
When away from KVOR, your most likely to find him on one of the many incredible mountain biking trails, hiking the Rampart Range, or enjoying the great independent restaurants all over Colorado Springs.
