COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – A rumored threat received through the “Safe 2 Tell” app has prompted a lockout at Harrison High School in Colorado Springs today, just two days after a stabbing incident near the campus.
An email was sent to parents Wednesday about a scheduled lockout, additional safety precautions, and an early dismissal planned for Thursday. Extra police and security personnel will be on campus today because of the potential, unspecified, threat.
Students will have early dismissal at 11 a.m. And the school will have a lockout in place for the shortened school day.
