COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – Colorado Springs Utilities says lanes should re-open today after a broken water main caused a large sinkhole on Montebello just north of Academy.
It’s a spot where this has happened before. A sinkhole created from a water main break in July of last year left over 100 customers without water. This hole is less than a block from the 2015 break, leaving 115 customers without water Sunday..
