COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – Firefighters from across the country and Canada are making their way to Colorado Springs later this week for the Fallen Fire Fighter Memorial.
The event is held is being held at memorial park on Saturday.
190 names will be added to the memorial this year.
Several firefighters from Colorado Springs won’t be present, they’re with a group helping with recovery efforts in Florida after hurricane Irma.
The memorial has taken place for the last 28 years.
