The condition of Colorado Springs Officer Cem Duzel continues to improve.
CSPD says officer Duzel has been released from the intensive care unit but is still being treated in the hospital.
Duzel was shot and gravely wounded in the line of duty while responding to a call on August 2nd.
The police department says Duzel’s recovery is showing positive signs and they thank the community for its’ support.
