Colorado Springs police officer Cem Duzel, seriously wounded in a shooting August 7th, has been transported to a hospital in Denver to continue treatment.
Dozens of policemen and hospital staff lined a hospital exit as Duzel was taken by ambulance Tuesday morning.
On his way to Denver a number of law enforcement agencies joined a motorcade along northbound I-25.
Duzel’s condition was recently upgraded from critical to serious.
31 year old Kammar Al Khamassi, the suspect in the shooting, remains in jail and charged with attempted murder.
