US Soldier Killed By Member of Afghan National Police

A US soldier killed in Afghanistan Monday was previously stationed at Fort Carson. 

42 year old Command Sergeant Major Timothy Bolyard was slain by a member of the Afghan National Police. 

Originally from West Virginia, Bolyard was assigned to the 1^st Security Force Assistance Brigade. 

Bolyard was stationed at Fort Carson from 2001 to 2011 and then again from 2013 to 2014.
