Restaurants Suffer Heavy Blow from Covid-19

Some Colorado restaurants are uncertain they’ll reopen after the Coronavirus emergency is over.  The Colorado restaurant association released the results of a survey of food service operators showing food operations lost 465-million-dollars in sales in the first 22 days of March.  The industry also laid off 150-thousand employees in that period.  14-percent of restaurant owners said they were likely to permanently close if stay-at-home orders lasted for several more weeks.
