An El Paso County Sheriff’s Deputy is in jail after he was arrested on second-degree assault charges related to domestic violence. 51-year old Robert Easter was taken into custody by Colorado Springs police on Thursday. He’s been with the Sheriff’s office since 2016 and is assigned to the court and transportation section. Easter has been placed on administrative leave.
