Prosecutors and the defense in the Leticia Stauch murder case were in court Friday. Stauch is accused of killing her step son Gannon earlier this year. She is facing first degree murder charges. The defense wanted Stauch to be undergo a mental evaluation to see if she is fit to stand trial. The evaluation reportedly has not yet happened, but lawyers told the judge Friday it is expected to be finished in the next 2 weeks. No word on why it has not been completed.
