COLORADO SPRINGS – Three people are under arrest in connection to the August 3rd riot in the Pulpit Rock neighborhood in Colorado Springs. A group of protesters was marching at the home of a Colorado Springs Police officer because of his involvement in the officer-involved shooting that killed De’von Bailey during a 2019 robbery investigation. Thirty-six-year-old Sherrie Smith of Fountain is under arrest on charges including engaging in a riot, menacing and possessing a dangerous or illegal weapon. Thirty-three-year-old Lloyd Porche of Denver is facing similar charges. Twenty-year-old Charles Johnson of Colorado Springs is under arrest and facing charges including attempted robbery and inciting a riot. The investigation is ongoing. Authorities are also asking for the communities help to locate another individual seen in the photo below.
