FLORENCE – The Federal Bureau of Investigation is looking into the death of an inmate at a federal prison in Florence over the weekend. According to the Federal Bureau of Prison’s, 31-year old Brett Zimmer was found unresponsive a the Florence Correctional Complex on Saturday night.
The staff attempted to revive Zimmer, bet they were unable to do so. Prison officials say the death is being investigated at they also said the man was not a victim of Covid-19.
