A judge Wednesday denied a request by convicted child molester Joshua Carrier for a reduced sentence. Carrier was sentenced to 70 years to life after being found guilty in 2012 of sexually abusing 18 boys at Horace Mann middle school in the springs. Carrier was a former member of the Colorado Springs Police department and was a volunteer wrestling coach at Horace Mann. Carrier would reportedly examine boys before competition. He was arrested in 2011 for his crimes.
