EL PASO COUNTY — The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office has identified a woman found dead near Old Pueblo Road and Midway Ranch Road South of Fountain earlier this week. Thirty-three-year-old Alison Cantrell’s cause of death is not yet released, but authorities say her death is being investigated as a homicide. The sheriff’s office is asking anyone with information to call their tip line AT 719-520-6666. Cantrell was last seen at a 7-11 on 21st street in Colorado Springs.
