UPDATE AT 853PM
Boulder Police said Monday night 10 people including a Boulder Police officer were shot and killed at a King Soopers Monday afternoon in Boulder on Table Mesa Road. The first 911 call came in shortly before 3 Monday afternoon. 15 agencies responded to the scene. A short time later police were seen escorting a man wearing only boxer shorts, and in handcuffs, to a patrol car. The individual was bleeding from what appeared to be a leg injury. Boulder Police say the only individual being treated for injuries is this person who is the suspect. Police say it’s early in the investigation and they are still gathering evidence from the store. The police officer has been identified as 51 year old Eric Talley. He had been a member of the Boulder Police Department since 2010. He was the first officer to arrive on the scene. Fellow officers have described his actions as heroic. Hundreds of officers led a procession for Officer Talley earlier Monday night in Boulder. The suspects name has not been released.
