Remembering Officer Eric Talley

BOULDER – We are learning more about the Boulder police officer who was one of 10 people killed in the mass shooting at a King Soopers Monday. Officer Eric Talley was one of the first members of law enforcement to arrive at the scene around 2:30 pm when was shot and killed. Police Chief Maris Herold described Talley’s actions as heroic during Monday night’s press conference. Meanwhile, Talley’s father says his son joined the Boulder Police Department in 2010 at the age of 40 and was a loving father to 7 children. District attorney Michael Dougherty says Talley was one of the many outstanding members of Boulder County’s law enforcement.
