Boulder Mayor receives condolences from President Biden

BOULDER – President Joe Biden reached out to Boulder Mayor Sam Weaver to offer his condolences and support following the mass shooting Monday at a King Soopers. In a tweet, Weaver said the President was pained by their losses and offered the community any resources they need. Meanwhile, on Tuesday, the president urged the house and senate to move towards banning assault weapons and high-capacity magazines. Ten people lost their lives in Monday’s shooting including Boulder Police Officer Eric Talley. The suspect is expected to make his first court appearance on Thursday.
