COLORADO SPRINGS –
colorado springs police are investigating two separate shootings on Monday night. The first happened at about 5:25 p.m. at Memorial Park near Prospect Lake and after an extensive search in the area for a suspect, no arrest was made. Police are asking anyone who was in the area, to please contact them at 719-444-7000.
Officers were also called later in the evening to an area near Cottonwood Creek Park off Rangewood Dr. between Woodmen Rd. and Dublin Blvd for another shooting at about 8:40 p.m. One person was injured and they were taken to an area hospital. No suspect description is available for either of the shootings and the conditions of the victims are unknown as of Tuesday morning.
