COLORADO SPRINGS – An investigation is being conducted at the El Paso County Jail after an inmate committed suicide in his cell before 6:00 p.m. Monday night. Deputies and the jail’s medical staff worked to revive the prisoner, but those attempts were unsuccessful.
The inmate’s name is not being released pending notification of his family.
