EL PASO COUNTY — The El Paso County Courts have unsealed a handwritten letter Leticia Stauch wrote to the judge requesting that she be allowed to represent herself. Stauch is accused of killing her stepson Gannon in February of 2020. In the letter, the 36-year-old says she is not mentally well and that her attorneys lack the ability to gather evidence. She also goes into a detailed description of the care she has received for previous mental health issues. Stauch finishes the letter by saying she’s getting worse mental every day due to inadequate representation and being held hostage for a crime she says she didn’t commit. You can see a copy of Stauch’s letter on the 740 KVOR Twitter Feed.
