COLORADO SPRINGS — Colorado Springs Police are identifying the suspect and victim in a shooting last Friday on the southeast side of Colorado Springs. It happened at 3615 East Uintah Street at the Birchwood Village Apartments. When authorities arrived, they found 41-year-old David Dawson dead with an apparent gunshot wound. Thirty-five-year-old Richard Dolan is under arrest on charges of murder in the first degree. Mr. Dawson’s death is the 7th homicide so far this year.
