New unemployment figures were released Thursday by the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment. First time claims for jobless benefits dropped last week from the week before. 6718 claims were filed last week, compared to more than 89 hundred the week prior. Colorado’s economy continues to rebound from Covid-19, and as restrictions continue to loosen around the state business owners are now trying to bring on additional staff.
