A new way to report animal abuse

By Nia Bender

COLORADO SPRINGS – Two regional organizations are teaming to help more people report animal abuse in southern Colorado.  Pikes Peak area Crime Stoppers is working with the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region to make it easier to report possible abuse anonymously.

The head of the HSPPR says the new partnership will help to protect more pets and reduce animal suffering in the area.  Tips can be submitted online through the Crime Stoppers website or by calling 719-634-7867.
