A new transportation Bill heads to the Governor’s desk

COLORADO – Get ready to fork over more money for new fees for a massive transportation bill heading to Governor Polis’ desk after getting approval from the state legislature. The House passed the measure Wednesday with minor changes which were then given final approval by the Senate.

The measure would provide more than five billion dollars over the next decade for things like roads and bridges, transit, and electric vehicle charging stations. The bulk of the funding will come from fees tied to road usage and fuel purchases.
