And so it begins….paving city streets in Colorado Springs. It’s the 6th year of the voter approved 2-c project, funding major paving operations around Colorado Springs. 2c has generated close to 50 million dollars a year for re-surfacing. Voters approved an extension of the measure in 2019. This year the city will focus resurfacing efforts on Interquest Parkway, Dublin Boulevard, Stetson Hills Boulevard, Petersen Road, Weber Street and Voyager Parkway. The city’s goal is to replace some 182 lane miles throughout the city this year.
