COLORADO SPRINGS — The husband of a Colorado Springs woman missing since 2019 is under arrest. Thirty-eight-year-old Dane Kallungi was arrested in Albuquerque Wednesday on first-degree murder charges in connection to the disappearance of his wife, 26-year-old Jepsey Kallungi. According to her mother, the two met on an internet dating site, and Jepsey moved to the U.S. in 2017 from the Philippines to marry Kallungi, a Colorado Springs resident. According to court records, he was wanted for murder charges in connection to a crime committed in March of 2019, around the same time Jepsey disappeared. Jepsey’s mother says Kallungi told her his wife left with a friend to go to the Philippines or Chicago without an ID or phone.
