The latest now on 2 shootings early Thursday morning in Colorado Springs that left 2 people dead. The first call came in for a shooting at Woody’s Bar and Grill near Academy and Pikes Peak. Police found a woman with gunshots wounds. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Witnesses say a suspect fired several rounds in the parking lot. There are unconfirmed reports the victim and the suspect knew each other.
Then 30 minutes later a second call of shots fired, at a 7-11 near Fountain and Circle. A man was found with gunshot wounds. He died at the scene. Several shots were also directed at the building. At the moment, Spring Police do not believe the shootings are related.
