CHAFFEE COUNTY – A judge in Chaffee County is allowing the public to attend the preliminary hearings for the man accused of killing his wife last year. Barry Morphew is scheduled for court on August 9th and 10th, as well as August 23rd and 24th.

Because of the crowd expected, an overflow area is being set up at the Chaffee County Fairgrounds for a Livestream of the hearings.  Suzanne Morphew disappeared in May of last year after reportedly leaving her home for a bike ride. Her body has never been found and her husband was arrested and charged with murder earlier this year.
