Harrison School District 2 in Colorado Springs says they plan to implement a mandatory mask mandate starting Tuesday, September 7th. All students, staff, parents, and visitors will be required to wear a mask indoors at all district schools and offices. In addition, masks will be required for before and after-school childcare, indoor athletic events, and any other school-related activities. Masks will not be required outdoors. 3 schools in the district reported covid outbreaks, Sand Creek International Elementary School, Sierra High School and Carmel community school…and Thursday Widefield School District 3 informed parents they are returning to a mask mandate for students and staff beginning Tuesday.
