5th District Congressman Doug Lamborn tweeted Thursday the House Armed Services Committee passed an amendment by Lamborn and other Colorado politicians to temporarily stop the move of U.S Space Command from Colorado Springs to Huntsville Alabama. The General Accounting Office and the Department of Defense have been conducting a review of the decision to move Space Command out of Colorado Springs. The amendment asked the move be halted until those government agencies complete their investigations. Former President Donald Trump said in a recent radio interview he singlehandedly made the decision to move Space Command to Alabama. Many Colorado politicians on both sides of the aisle feel the decision by Mr. Trump was politically motivated
