GLENWOOD SPRINGS — We now know the name of a 6-year-old Colorado Springs girl who died on a ride at the Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park on Sunday. District 49 has confirmed Wongel Estifanos was a student at Stetson Elementary school here in Colorado Springs. They are providing counseling services for students and staff. Estifanos was on vacation with her family when she was fatally injured while on the Haunted Mine Drop Ride. Details around the child’s death are still under investigation.
