Monday U-C Health fired more than 100 workers around the state who refused to get vaccinated against Covid-19. U-C Health sent letters out to their 26 thousand employees warning of this action two months ago. Overall, 119 people lost their jobs. 32 people were affected in Southern Colorado. The numbers reflect less than .5% of U-C health’s workforce. U-C health officials say if any of the 119 get vaccinated they are welcome to re-apply for their positions.
