A car accident Wednesday afternoon in the Springs leads to an arrest. There was an accident at Walnut and Columbia streets involving an s-u-v and a truck. The s-u-v occupants suffered minor injuries and remained on scene, but once police showed up They started to walk away. The s-u-v had been reported stolen days earlier. The driver was subsequently taken into custody. He was identified as Kameron Martinez. He was wanted on multiple warrants. Evidence in the vehicle connected the other passengers, who ran off, to multiple thefts in the area.
