E scooters have arrived in Colorado Springs. A 1 year pilot program has begun between the city and 2 companies Veo and Lime, to provide scooters in the downtown area and along the west side. You have to download an app, then pay 1 dollar to unlock the scooter. You are charged around 30 cents for every minute you use one. Helmets are recommended if you use one. However, helmets are not included when you pick one up. There are about 600 scooters in Colorado Springs.
