Ahmad Alissa ruled incompetent to stand trial

Boulder– The man accused of killing 10 people in a Boulder King Soopers last March has been ruled incompetent to stand trial. Defense attorneys for 22-year Ahmad Alissa say he suffers from mental illness and after an evaluation, doctors determined he is not competent to stand trial. Meanwhile, prosecutors have requested a second evaluation. Alissa is expected back in court Thursday; he’s facing 115 charges in connection to the shooting.
