Authorities say the recent death of a man shot several months ago is ruled a homicide. It happened on May 6th. Police were called to Arcadia Street north of Fillmore and east of North Nevada on reports of a shooting. Investigators believe 55-year-old john William Fitzpatrick was shot by his son, 20-year-old John Ellis Fitzpatrick. Two months later, the father died while being treated for his injuries. On Wednesday, it was determined the death was a homicide.
