Tense moments last night in Manitou Springs where two men held up a business in the 100 block of Manitou Avenue. Manitou police were able to detain one suspect. The second person ran to the Park Row Lodge and joined 2 additional people. The lodge was evacuated, and a shelter in place order was issued. Manitou Police along with the El Paso County Sheriff’s office made contact with all 3 and they eventually came out. Police have detained 2 of the people and they are investigating the other 2 individuals. There were no reported injuries.
