Parents waving signs calling for an end to bullying and making schools safe dotted the grounds of Chinook Trail Middle School yesterday, after the school was closed over concerns of a possible protest against the school. The parents weren’t there to protest the school, instead they came to support the school. Roughly 25 parents gathered at the school around 8 a.m. yesterday, and eventually left. They claimed they’d come back if any protesters showed up. What the no-protest was supposed to be about is unclear.
