Election Day Measures

It’s election day, and El Paso County voters have several choices to make involving wildlife, parks and tabor revenue. Issue 2D would allow Colorado Springs to spend over $20 million to create a city and regional wildlife mitigation program. Another item is 2C which would raise city and use taxes on trails, open spaces and parks to 0.2%. And issue 1A would allow the county to keep and spend revenue over TABOR limits, but not above the cap the county set for itself. Election results will be out tomorrow.
