A crash along Marksheffel Road on Nov. 3, left one person dead, a Widefield High School student. Colorado Springs Police responded to the intersection of Marksheffel and Drennan Road after reports of a crash around 7 a.m. One person was dead at the scene. Police say a Prius was turning left onto Marksheffel when a Ford truck hit the car. The driver of the truck wasn’t hurt, and police don’t believe drugs or alcohol played a role. CSPD says this is the 42nd traffic death in 2021.
