Skorman Resigns City Council

Colorado Springs City Council President Pro Tem Richard Skorman has formally resigned from the City Council effective Dec. 31. Skorman was reelected in April for a second term, but said challenges from the pandemic forces him to put all his effort into his business. Skorman has served on the council four times since 1999 and has served multiple boards, commissions and land protection efforts. His resignation was announced Nov. 5.
