Firefighters from the Colorado Springs, Pueblo and Manitou Springs areas are headed to the destructive Marshall Fire near Boulder this morning. Currently, over 1,600 acres of land have burned in the blaze, and over 500 structures. If someone wants to help evacuees, monetary donations can be made to the Community Foundation of Boulder County, or the Red Cross through their website. The Boulder Office of Emergency Management says that if someone wants to offer shelter to displaced residents, they can volunteer their property through the Air BnB website. And the YMCA of Northern Colorado says they will post needed supplies on their Twitter page throughout the fire.
