FOUNTAIN, COLORADO — This week Fountain Police delivered around 15 sets of body armor and 40 ballistic helmets to help Ukrainian citizens defend their country. Officers took the gear to a drop-off point designated by the Colorado Department of Public Safety. It’s all a part of a statewide effort to collect surplus supplies to help Ukraine as Russian forces continue to attack.
