New Report Out on Space Command Move

The Government Accountability Office has released a report focused on the quality of the decision-making process in relocating U-S Space Command from the Springs to Huntsville, Alabama. Many Colorado leaders are urging the Department of Defense to act on the report, and keep the Command here. Springs Mayor John Suthers says the report confirms what he and other leaders have said all along — that the process of recommending the move was flawed. He says it’s time to ask the Biden Administration to do the best thing in the interest of national security — and keep the Command in Colorado. Other leaders, including Rep. Doug Lamborn and Senator John Hickenlooper, have spoken out about keeping it here, and the recent report as well.
