The Gazette and KVOR news partner 11 News are reporting the Postmaster of Colorado Springs was in jail Wednesday November 23rd. He is identified as Stevenson Begay. He just took the job of springs Postmaster in late June. KKTV says online court records indicate Begay is being investigated for an alleged sexual assault. The United States Postal Service told KKTV 11 News Begay was placed on non-duty status pending the outcome of the investigation. But they refused to give any additional information because it is a criminal investigation.
