A head’s up for drivers on I-25. The Colorado Department of Transportation is going to be demolishing a bridge at I-25 and South Academy this week. Starting Friday night, South Academy will be completely closed at I-25 for a week. Traffic will be detoured to on-and-off ramps to avoid the demolition work. There will also be closures on southbound I-25 connected with the work this week. A map of the proposed project is available below:
