Springs Police are searching for a vehicle that officers say hit a squad car and then took off. This happened around midnight, near I-25 and South Academy. An officer had pulled over a separate vehicle near the exit — when the suspect car hit the police cruiser. CSPD Officials say the officer was outside the cruiser at the time, talking with the driver of the vehicle which was pulled over. Nobody involved was reported injured. Officers say the suspect car is a white or silver SUV with damage to the passenger side of the vehicle.
