COLORADO SPRINGS-An investigation is underway after police were called to a local High School on reports a student brought a gun to school. It happened this morning around ten at Sand Creek High School on the east side of the city. Campus officials and the school resource officer investigated the reports made contact with a student. The juvenile had a weapon with him and was arrested and taken into custody. Authorities say there is no ongoing concern for student and staff safety.
