Another election is on the way for Colorado Springs residents. Election Day is April 4th, and voters will choose the next Mayor of Colorado Springs. Current Mayor John Suthers is term-limited. Candidates for mayor include some familiar faces in Pikes Peak Region politics — including Sallie Clark, Wayne Williams and Longinos Gonzales. Others hoping to step into the office include Kallan Reece Rodebugh; John Tig Tiegen; Yemi Mobalade; Lawrence Martinez; Christopher Mitchell; Tom Strand; Jim Miller; Andrew Dalby and Daryl Glenn. There are also three open seats on the Springs City Council — and an open slot for the remainder of the Council District 3 term. Extension of the TOPS tax will be on the ballot as well.
